๐ŸŒŽ The Nearshore Explorer

Latin American company directory

656 records across three countries, compiled from public sources and published free. Here is exactly what that means before you use it.

What this is

A directory. Company names, sectors, cities, and regions gathered from public registries, trade association listings, and free-zone directories, cleaned up and put in one place because no such list existed for a small US buyer.

What this is not

The composition problem, stated plainly

Raw counts mislead here, so read them carefully. Panama accounts for the largest share of records, but the overwhelming majority are Colรณn Free Zone trade and distribution companies โ€” importers, re-exporters, and logistics operators, not factories. If you're looking for someone to manufacture your product, the Panama section is largely not for you, and I'd rather say that than let a big number do the talking.

Panama

407 records โ€” predominantly trade and distribution, not manufacturing.

Costa Rica

132 records.

Colombia

117 records.

How to use it

Use it to build a candidate list, then verify everything. A name on this page tells you a company exists and roughly what business it's in. It does not tell you whether they can hold your tolerances, meet your volumes, pass your audit, or export to the US. That's the work โ€” and if you'd like help with it, that's what I do.

Thinking about a move?

A 15-minute diagnostic call, no pitch: what you make, what you're paying, what broke. You'll get a straight answer on whether this is worth pursuing โ€” including when it isn't.
